Get ready to look to the skies at the Inman Family Farm Co-Op! In this class, we are going to become junior meteorologists and explore the amazing science behind our everyday weather.
Here is what we will be exploring together:
What is Weather? We will learn the basics of how the atmosphere works, what causes the temperature to shift, and why our weather changes from day to day.
Cloud Spotting & Storms: We will learn how to identify different types of clouds, what secrets they tell us about the incoming weather, and discover the powerful science behind thunderstorms!
Take-Home Rain Catcher: To put our new forecasting skills to work, everyone will get to build their very own rain catcher to take home and monitor the rainfall right in their own backyard. Plus a weather tracker.
