Welcome to Soil Science!
Get ready to dig deep at the Inman Family Farm Co-Op! In this class, we are going to explore the ground beneath our feet and discover why healthy dirt is the foundation of every great garden.
Here is what we will be exploring together:
The Scoop on Soil: We will dive into soil science to learn about what makes up the ground we walk on and the different types of soil you might find.
Nature's Nutrients: Just like us, plants need food to thrive! We will uncover the essential nutrients hiding in the dirt that make it possible for things to grow.
Take-Home Soil Test: To put your new knowledge to the test, everyone will get an activity to take home so you can "test" the soil right in your own backyard!
