Chicken eggs should be hatching! We will learn about caring for and raising baby chicks!
🐣 Welcome to The Chicken Cycle!
Get ready for an egg-citing hatch day at the Inman Family Farm Co-Op! In this class, we are going to experience the magic of welcoming new life to the farm and learn all about caring for our feathered friends.
Here is what we will be exploring together:
Hatching & Baby Care: We will focus on hatching chicks and learning exactly how to properly care for them once they arrive.
Flock Life & Farm-Fresh Cooking: We will spend time with the adult chickens to learn about their care and how to handle farm-fresh eggs.
Take-Homes & Fostering Options: Every student will get to take home a chicken enrichment item or farm-fresh eggs. For families wanting a deeper experience, there is an option to sign up to foster and raise the newly hatched chicks for a few days with all supplies provided, or even "rent" an incubator for a month!
